Nepal National Football Team newly appointed coach Gyotuki Koji has announced a preliminary squad for the upcoming friendly match against Malaysia U-22 to be played on March 27.
The coach Gyotuki Koji will finalized 23 players from 44 preliminary squad.
According to the ANFA, all the players who represented Nepal in the SAFF Championship, Bangabandhu Gold Cup, South Asian Games and few players who he watched in the recently held Simara Gold Cup have made it to his preliminary list.
The training will begin from Tuesday at the ANFA Complex, for friendly match against Malaysia U-22.
The 44 members preliminary squad:
Goalkeepers: Bikesh Kuthu, Kiran Kumar Limbu, Amrit Kumar Chaudhary, Alan Neupane and Bishal Shrestha.
Defenders: Rabin Shrestha, Biraj Maharjan, Ananta Tamang, Aditya Chaudhary, Jitendra Karki, Ranjit Dhimal, Kamal Shrestha, Man Bahadur Tamang, Devendra Tamang, Bijay Dhimal, Ajit Bhandari and Dinesh Rajbanshi.
Midfielders: Jagajeet Shrestha, Bishal Rai, Anjan Bista, Heman Gurung, Bikram Lama, Yogesh Gurung, Nabin Lama, Rohit Chand, Jangbu Sherpa, Prakash Budhathoki, Sunil Bal, Tej Tamang, Tanka Basnet, Rajendra Rawal, Shyam Nepali, Sushil KC, Sujal Shrestha, Rupesh KC and Shiva Shrestha.
Forwards: Anil Gurung, Nawayug Shrestha, Bimal Gharti Magar, Ranjan Bista, Suman Lama, Karna Limbu, Bishwas Shrestha and Bharat Khawas.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said that “Rohit Chand, Ananta Tamang, Bimal Gharti Magar and Anjan Bista have also been included in the squad, they will not be available due to various commitments and injury.”
