Nepal National Football Team will play international friendly match against Malaysia U-22 on March 27, the Football Association of Malaysia confirmed on Friday.
The Nepal National Football Team will play with the squad that won the Gold in the 12th South Asian Games recently.
Newly appointed coach from Japan Gyotuki Koji will lead the squad against Malaysia.
Recently coach Koji is in Simara to get a better idea about the Nepali football. Coach Koji will start his training after Sunday and will also be announcing the preliminary squad for the game.
ANFA said that “the Football Association of Malaysia has also said that it will reschedule the International Friendly A Match between the National Teams of Malaysia and Nepal in May and has ‘deeply regretted to the misunderstanding’ that led to rescheduling of the match.”
Earlier, the two Football Association had agreed to play an International Friendly A match on March 29.
